This grant supports projects that develop, pilot, evaluate, and scale interventions to reduce and prevent human trafficking outside the United States. Through the Program to End Modern Slavery (PEMS), the U.S. Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons funds evidence-driven projects that advance U.S. national security, economic interests, and efforts to combat transnational crime. Projects must align with Administration priorities, the National Security Strategy, executive orders, and country-specific recommendations in the annual Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report.
