    Description

The LIFE Programme is the European Union’s primary funding instrument for environmental, climate action, and clean energy projects. It supports the shift toward a sustainable, circular, and climate-neutral economy by funding demonstration, best practice, capacity building, governance, and large-scale implementation projects. The programme is structured into four sub-programmes: Nature and Biodiversity, Circular Economy and Quality of Life, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, and Clean Energy Transition. LIFE enables research institutions, public bodies, private companies, NGOs, and international organizations to implement innovative solutions for environmental protection, climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and the energy transition.
