Description
This opportunity funds the Project Rental Assistance (PRA) Program under Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities. The program aims to increase access to affordable, integrated housing with supportive services for extremely low-income individuals with disabilities, aged 18–61, who are eligible for community-based long-term care services. Funding is awarded competitively to state or local housing agencies that demonstrate strong partnerships with their state’s health and human services and Medicaid agencies. Grantees administer project-based rental assistance contracts, either directly or through qualified partners, to eligible multifamily properties, supporting both new and existing units.
The 811 PRA program is designed to:
