This grant program aims to promote scientific literacy and strengthen interest, knowledge, and competencies within science, technology, and sustainability among children, youth, and the broader public in Denmark. The scheme supports a broad range of projects in STEM education, science didactics research, and informal science and technology experiences—including sustainability, green transition, and health. Eligible projects may include the development and implementation of educational methods and materials, science competitions, talent programs, professional development for teachers and educators, as well as initiatives involving artificial intelligence, computational thinking, and digital literacy. Projects can target all educational levels (from early childhood through secondary and vocational education) and also include extracurricular activities for families and the public, such as activity centers, museums, and summer schools. All funded activities must be directed at audiences within the Danish Realm.
