--- ## Description This funding opportunity seeks projects that will promote fiscal transparency in Mauritania by expanding citizens’ access to information on public revenues. The program aims to support the development of digital platforms, training, media engagement, and outreach initiatives that make data on natural resource revenues, government and state-owned enterprise debt, and national budgets accessible and understandable to the public. Key objectives include: - Creating a centralized, accessible platform for monitoring and reporting revenues from natural gas, mining, and fisheries. - Ensuring public availability and understanding of government and state-owned enterprise debt through dedicated platforms and media dissemination. - Operationalizing a user-friendly, multilingual application (web and WhatsApp-based) to provide real-time, simplified information on national budgets and expenditures.
