The PROLAB program enables graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from Latin American and select Iberian countries to spend up to six months in research laboratories in the United States or Canada. The aim is to provide access to advanced technologies and expertise not readily available in home countries, supporting skill development and strengthening scientific capacity in the life sciences upon return. The program is a collaboration between the Pan-American Association for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PABMB), the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB), and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).
