Description
This funding opportunity, offered by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), Office on Women's Health, supports initiatives that address sexual violence by providing long-term, trauma-informed residential safe homes for sexually exploited and/or abused women and girls. The program emphasizes not only safe housing for extended periods (months or years), but also comprehensive, multidisciplinary care—including physical, psychological, emotional, social, and educational support. Grantees are expected to strengthen collaborations with healthcare, behavioral health, law enforcement, education, and other community organizations to ensure a robust continuum of care and to prevent further violence or re-traumatization.
