The PRRI Public Fellows Program is an 11-month, non-residential fellowship designed for mid-career, interdisciplinary scholars whose research focuses on religion, culture, and politics—especially as these intersect with pluralism, democracy, immigration, and LGBTQ rights in the United States. The program aims to help scholars translate their academic work for wider public audiences by providing communications support, media training, and opportunities to place public-facing scholarship in major outlets. Fellows also receive guidance on incorporating public opinion survey data into their research and collaborate on original projects with a diverse cohort of peers. The fellowship includes monthly virtual meetings, professional development workshops, and an expenses-paid in-person convening in Washington, D.C.
