Description
This program supports individual artists in the six New England states (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT) to pursue professional development opportunities that build skills, resources, and connections essential for advancing public art practices. The initiative is rooted in the values of equity, inclusion, spatial justice, and racial justice, aiming to foster a sustainable and just public art ecosystem in the region. Eligible activities may include attending conferences, workshops, trainings, or other learning experiences that directly strengthen the applicant's public art practice. The program does not fund the creation or implementation of specific public art projects, but rather focuses on supporting artists’ growth and capacity-building.
