Description
This grant, under the Horizon Europe programme, funds public procurement of innovative solutions (PPI) aimed at improving citizens' access to healthcare through integrated or personalised approaches. The focus is on deploying innovations—especially digital and cross-sectoral solutions such as AI—that address clinical needs, enhance care integration and coordination, and equip health professionals with advanced tools. Projects should drive organisational and technological transformation within health systems, foster collaboration across European jurisdictions, and embed solutions in existing structures for scalable impact.
Eligible proposals must be led by consortia of public and/or private procurers with deployment responsibilities and budget control in health and care services. The grant does not fund R&D by developers or industry; rather, it supports procurers in specifying, purchasing, and deploying innovative solutions to address shared unmet needs. End-user involvement, cooperation with policymakers, and alignment with ongoing EU health initiatives are strongly encouraged.
