Description
The Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program provides financial support to public school districts and area career and technical schools in Pennsylvania for critical facility improvement projects. The program aims to modernize, repair, and enhance educational facilities, addressing infrastructure needs that impact health, safety, energy efficiency, and accessibility. Eligible projects include roof repairs, HVAC upgrades, plumbing, energy-saving measures, accessibility improvements, emergency repairs, internet connectivity infrastructure, window replacement, demolition, and more. The initiative is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) under the direction of the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA).
