Description
The Publication Subsidies program from the Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange provides funding to academic publishers and full-time faculty for the publication of scholarly works related to Chinese Studies in the humanities and social sciences. The program especially encourages first book projects by junior scholars and collaborative projects involving institutions in Taiwan, particularly those focusing on Taiwan Studies. Eligible works include books, monographs, periodicals, journals, and conference proceedings. Funding covers publication-related costs such as editing and indexing, but does not support translation or research expenses. Supported publications must acknowledge the Foundation’s sponsorship on the title page.
