Description
The Quality of Care Research Awards are designed to fund innovative research projects that optimize existing ALS therapies, reduce complications, and ensure the highest standards of care are accessible, equitable, and affordable for all individuals with ALS. The program encourages collaboration among clinical science, implementation science, quality improvement, and health services researchers to make ALS care safer and more effective. Projects may address improving current therapies, reducing complications, enhancing care delivery, and addressing disparities in access and outcomes. The awards reflect the rapid advances in ALS treatment and are intended to translate these advances into meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.
