--- ## Description This initiative supports the launch of a critical dance studies colloquium designed to connect dance programs across the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM). The project focuses on fostering innovation in dance scholarship and pedagogy through six virtual events led by guest artist-scholars. The colloquium aims to reimagine dance curricula, teaching models, and community engagement with a strong emphasis on decolonizing dance studies, integrating liberatory pedagogies, and designing intentionally anti-racist curricula. By leveraging virtual programming, the project seeks to overcome geographic barriers, create sustained cross-campus connections, expand interdisciplinary research, and develop digital teaching resources.
