Description
This program provides funding to Operation Lifesaver Inc. for the implementation of education and outreach activities focused on improving safety at railroad rights-of-way and highway-railroad grade crossings. The grant is administered by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and is intended to support Operation Lifesaver’s efforts to reduce incidents, injuries, and fatalities related to rail crossings and trespassing on railroad property. Funding is provided under the approved FY26 budget for the FRA Office of Safety.
