--- ## Description This funding opportunity supports the formation and operation of Rare Diseases Clinical Research Consortia (RDCRC) as part of the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN). The goal is to advance the diagnosis, management, and treatment of rare diseases through highly collaborative, multi-site, patient-centric, translational, and clinical research. Emphasis is placed on early identification of individuals with rare diseases and clinical trial readiness. Each consortium must focus on at least three rare diseases and propose two to four clinical research projects, including at least one longitudinal study. Interventional clinical trials must be Phase I or early-stage proof-of-concept.
