Description
This grant program seeks to promote school readiness and academic achievement among preschool and elementary school children—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds—through the development and dissemination of accessible, high-quality educational television and digital media content. Funded projects are expected to create programming for national distribution via public television and digital platforms, as well as to develop outreach materials and activities that extend the educational impact of the content. The program also supports research on educational effectiveness and community-based outreach efforts to maximize the reach and impact of funded initiatives.
