Description
The program provides federal funding for the development and improvement of recreational trails and related facilities throughout Ohio. Eligible projects include new trail construction, maintenance and restoration of existing trails, development of trailheads and trailside amenities, acquisition of land or easements for trails, purchase of trail construction and maintenance equipment, and environmental or safety education related to trails. The program is designed to improve access, connectivity, and the overall quality of trail systems for a wide range of users, including efforts to enhance accessibility for people with disabilities.
