Description
This opportunity supports research projects that use the Supervisory Practices in Reflective Supervision-Home Visiting (SuPRS-HV) measure to study, evaluate, and inform reflective supervision in early childhood home visiting programs. Projects must partner with at least one program funded by the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program. The goal is to advance knowledge about reflective supervision practices—such as their measurement, their impact on outcomes, and tools to improve practice—and to disseminate findings that can inform policy, practice, and future research in the home visiting field.
Projects may:
- Further the measurement of reflective supervision (e.g., validity studies, adaptation, or new validation approaches)
- Use SuPRS-HV to examine how supervision practices affect staff, relationships, or family outcomes
- Develop tools for practice improvement or monitoring using SuPRS-HV
- Describe variation in reflective supervision practices across contexts or populations
Findings must be shared with researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders, and published in open-access forums.
