Description
The New Jersey Department of Human Services’ Office of New Americans (ONA) seeks providers for essential case management and initial employment services under the federally funded Refugee Support Services program. Services are for refugees and other people eligible through the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). The goal is to help clients resettle, achieve economic self-sufficiency quickly, and integrate into New Jersey communities.
Selected providers will assess needs, develop service plans, connect clients with benefits and community resources, and help employable clients pursue jobs and later advancement. They will coordinate referrals to workforce development and adult education resources rather than duplicate available services. ONA favors culturally and linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed delivery and broad access across New Jersey counties.
