This grant supports innovative, scientifically valid research projects that utilize the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation’s (AAO-HNSF) Reg-ent clinical data registry. The goal is to advance the field of otolaryngology by funding projects with direct or potential clinical significance for patients seen by otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeons. Priority is given to research evaluating clinical practice guideline adherence and impact, assessing quality of care and outcomes, addressing knowledge gaps identified by AAO-HNS/F groups, and leveraging Reg-ent data for quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Applicants are encouraged to consult the Reg-ent Data Dictionary and collaborate with the Reg-ent team to ensure feasibility and scientific rigor.
