Description
Notre Dame Learning’s Reimagining Class Time Grants support faculty who want to substantially change how course content is presented. Projects might strengthen active learning or move students’ first exposure to new concepts outside class, leaving time together for guided practice. The grant is not intended for changes to only one or two assignments.
Recipients work with Notre Dame Learning’s learning designers, academic media specialists, educational developers, and project managers to clarify course goals, create instructional materials, and develop or revise learning activities. They teach the redesigned course during the 2027–28 academic year and evaluate the redesign’s impact on faculty and student outcomes. Teams teaching the same or related courses are encouraged to apply.
