Description
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking input from external academic entities on the design and establishment of a Trusted Partner Program (TPP). The goal is to assemble a cadre of pre-vetted, trusted academic partners—primarily institutes of higher education and their associated entities—capable of rapidly initiating and conducting basic and applied scientific research aligned with ARL's mission. This RFI is for information gathering and planning only; it is not a solicitation for proposals, and no funding will be provided based on responses.
The envisioned TPP would facilitate agile, secure, and collaborative research across a broad spectrum of technical fields relevant to Army needs, potentially through multiple five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts in the future. Feedback from this RFI will help shape the program's structure, requirements, and eligibility criteria.
