Description
Coefficient Giving’s Launchpad Funds initiative supports the creation and growth of funds addressing important, underfunded problems in global health and wellbeing. Launchpad Funds are intended primarily to regrant to projects led by implementing organizations, though direct implementation may also help a fund achieve its goals. Pre-seed support can develop a fund’s strategy, team, and initial grantmaking; seed and scaling support can grow an established concept.
The initiative favors funds organized around a defined outcome and led by one person accountable for achieving it. Thematic funds with a clear focus and accountable leader are also welcome. Coefficient Giving looks for credible strategies that turn funding into measurable progress, prioritizing cost-effectiveness alongside the importance, tractability, and neglectedness of the problem.
