Description
Dumbarton Oaks Research Fellowships provide scholars and advanced graduate students the opportunity to pursue innovative, interdisciplinary research in Byzantine Studies, Pre-Columbian Studies, and Garden and Landscape Studies. Fellows benefit from access to Dumbarton Oaks’ renowned library, specialized collections, and archival materials, and are expected to be in residence in Washington, D.C. for the duration of their fellowship. The program is designed to foster international, inclusive scholarship and encourages projects that engage with a wide range of historical periods, geographies, and disciplinary perspectives.
