This fellowship program provides competitive funding for advanced graduate students—enrolled at Yale or any other institution globally—to undertake onsite research using Yale Library Special Collections, including the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, for periods ranging from one to four months. The program welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, disciplines, and research approaches (including traditional, creative, and interdisciplinary projects). Fellows are expected to be in residence, actively engage with the library and university community, and contribute feedback on their experience. The fellowship aims to broaden access to Yale’s unique collections and foster scholarly and creative inquiry.
