The NCTE Research Foundation Teacher Research Grant Program funds projects that advance the teaching and learning of language, literacy, and culture, with a focus on improving English language arts instruction at all educational levels. The program encourages research that reflects the diverse interests of NCTE members, including studies on equity, underrepresented populations, curriculum changes, community literacy, and student practices both inside and outside of school. Grants are intended to directly support classroom-based research conducted by teachers.
