Description
The Dravet Syndrome Foundation (DSF) Research Grant supports established, independent investigators affiliated with research or academic institutions to advance understanding, treatment, and potential cures for Dravet syndrome. Projects must directly address the needs of the Dravet syndrome community and align with DSF’s mission. Priority areas include mechanisms of epileptogenesis, development of enhanced disease models, cellular and molecular pathogenesis, comorbidities, SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), and innovative therapeutic interventions (including gene therapy).
Applications are evaluated using NIH-style peer review, with final decisions made by DSF’s Board of Directors to ensure alignment with scientific standards and community needs.
