Description
The Jeffrey Modell Foundation (JMF) offers multiple grant programs aimed at advancing research and education in Primary Immunodeficiency (PI). Funding Amount
- Translational Research Program: Up to $250,000 total over two years (max $125,000 per year). Funds cover direct costs only; no institutional overhead.
- Specific Defect Research Program: Up to $50,000 total over two years (max $25,000 per year). Direct costs only.
- C.H.I.L.D.R.E.N!® Grant: Up to $25,000 per year for two years. Direct costs only.
- G.E.N.I.E. Physician Education Grant: Up to $10,000 for one year. Funds cannot be used for travel or overhead.
Eligibility
- Open to international and U.S. investigators with expertise or strong interest in Primary Immunodeficiency research.
- Both established and young investigators encouraged to apply.
- Investigators not currently funded by NIH are especially encouraged for the Translational Research Program.
- Only one active grant per investigator allowed at a time for the Translational Research Program.
- Applicants for G.E.N.I.E. must be enrolled in a fellowship or higher.
