--- ## Description This grant, funded by the EveryCat Health Foundation (formerly Winn Foundation), supports research projects that advance the health and welfare of domestic cats. Eligible topics span all areas of feline health, including but not limited to shelter medicine, nutrition, behavior, and breed- or disease-specific studies. Special funds are available for research on conditions such as feline infectious peritonitis, heart disease, chronic kidney disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in specific breeds, amyloidosis, and feline cancers. The foundation emphasizes scientific rigor, clearly defined goals, and humane standards of animal care. Proposals must include detailed scientific and lay summaries, timelines, itemized budgets, and must credit the foundation in all resulting publications.
