--- ## Description This Horizon Europe call funds projects that provide, enhance, and harmonise access to leading-edge research infrastructures for curiosity-driven research in two domains: atmospheric chemistry and dynamics (environment), and hadron physics (physical sciences and engineering). The goal is to facilitate breakthrough research by supporting trans-national (on-site or remote) and virtual access to integrated, interdisciplinary research infrastructure services across Europe and associated countries. Projects should: - Offer access to existing, high-quality research infrastructure services. - Provide training and technical support for users, including data stewardship. - Include outreach and engagement to broaden access, particularly from underrepresented (Widening) countries. - Foster cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing and harmonise services. - Address data management, interoperability, and connections to the European Open Science Cloud. - Ensure sustainability and complementarity with other EU-funded access schemes. Proposals must involve a wide, inclusive portfolio of research infrastructures of European interest and demonstrate strong links to pan-European infrastructures, especially those prioritised by ESFRI and the ERICs. --- ## Due Dates - Call opens: May 6, 2025 - Submission deadline: September 18, 2025, 17:00 Brussels time (single-stage) --- ## Funding Amount - Total budget for this topic: €20,000,000 - Expected contribution: approximately €10,000,000 per grant - Indicative number of grants: 2 - Funding rate: 80% of eligible costs Eligible costs may include unit costs for trans-national and virtual access as defined in Horizon Europe guidance. --- ## Eligibility - Open to legal entities in EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries. - Certain non-EU/non-Associated Countries (Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, USA) are exceptionally eligible if providing access to their infrastructures for EU/Associated Country researchers. - Proposals must include access provision activities. - At least one ESFRI Landmark or European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) must be a beneficiary (or, for distributed ERICs, a host legal entity with ERIC support). - Third-country infrastructures may participate if they offer complementary or more advanced services than those in the EU/Associated Countries.
