The Institut français x Cité internationale des arts residency program provides international artists and cultural professionals the opportunity to undertake research and creative projects in Paris for three, six, or nine months. The program is open to individuals who have lived outside their home country for at least five years and is designed to foster international artistic exchange, professional growth, and engagement with the Parisian cultural scene. Each year, approximately 53 residencies are awarded across a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines, including architecture, visual arts, cinema, digital creation, literature, music, performing arts, and more. Residents receive accommodation in a studio-apartment at the Cité internationale des arts, along with individual and collective professional support.
