Description
This program provides competitive grants to public housing agencies, resident associations, multifamily owners, tribes, tribally-designated housing entities, and eligible nonprofits to hire or maintain service coordinators. The coordinators assess the needs of residents in public and Indian housing and connect them to local training and supportive services, enabling progress toward economic independence and stability. The program focuses on overcoming barriers related to education, employment, health, and financial literacy, and includes dedicated support for elderly residents and those with disabilities to help them age in place.
