Description
This funding opportunity supports organizations that can provide high-quality, child-centered residential care for unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Funded providers must offer services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and be ready to accept children at any time, consistent with state licensing requirements. The goal is to ensure the safety, well-being, and daily care of children pending unification or other case resolution. ORR is especially interested in expanding capacity near the U.S. southern border with Mexico and seeks applicants able to deliver licensed group home, shelter, or transitional foster care services.
