Description
This forecasted opportunity from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), part of the NIH, will solicit applications to establish resource-based centers supporting bone, muscle, and orthopaedic research. The centers are intended to provide critical research infrastructure, shared facilities, and resources that enable groups of investigators to conduct individual or team-based research more efficiently and effectively. The goal is to accelerate, enrich, and enhance the effectiveness of ongoing basic, translational, and clinical research and to promote new research within the NIAMS mission. Collaborative investigations combining expertise in bone, muscle, and orthopaedic research are especially encouraged.
