The National Institute on Aging (NIA), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), intends to announce a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for U24 Research Resource/Infrastructure cooperative agreements. These awards will support large-scale and complex research programs focused on aging, Alzheimer's disease (AD), and Alzheimer's disease-related dementias (ADRD). Projects are expected to involve teams from single institutions or consortia and should align with the NIA's mission and research priorities. Both new and renewal applications, as well as revisions and resubmissions, will be eligible. NIA anticipates funding only a limited number of highly meritorious proposals under this announcement. Early consultation with NIA scientific staff is strongly encouraged to ensure alignment with programmatic priorities.
