    Description

    The Mayo Clinic Retinal and Vitreous Surgery Fellowship is a comprehensive two-year program designed to train ophthalmologists in the diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of retinal and vitreous diseases. Fellows gain hands-on experience with a broad spectrum of conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, tumors, and uveitis. Surgical training covers scleral buckling, vitrectomy, laser photocoagulation, photodynamic therapy, and cryotherapy, with additional practice on a vitreoretinal surgery simulator.
