    Description

    The Rollin and Mary Ella King Native Artist Fellowship is one of three annual non-residential fellowships awarded by the Indian Arts Research Center at the School for Advanced Research (SAR). This fellowship is dedicated to preserving the Southwest’s rich artistic heritage by supporting Native visual artists from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. The award is designed to encourage both established and emerging artists to explore new creative directions, strengthen their existing talents, and engage with new ideas in the visual arts. The fellowship provides financial support for a wide range of visual arts practices, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital art, mixed media, photography, and pottery.
