Description
The Rome Prize is a prestigious fellowship awarded annually by the American Academy in Rome to approximately thirty artists and scholars working in the arts and humanities. The fellowship supports innovative, cross-disciplinary projects by providing recipients with a stipend, private living and working accommodations, and weekday meals in a collaborative international community. Fellows are immersed in Rome’s rich cultural setting, with access to the Academy’s resources and opportunities for intellectual and artistic exchange.
