Description
This grant program provides funding to eligible public agencies, private nonprofit organizations (including faith-based and community organizations), and other qualified entities to assist very low- and low-income homeowners in rural areas with repairs and rehabilitation of their homes. The program also supports repairs and rehabilitation for rental properties and cooperative housing complexes, provided these units are made available to low- and very low-income individuals. Funding is intended to preserve affordable rural housing and improve living conditions in underserved communities.
