Description
The Safe Drinking Water Cybersecurity Grant Program (SDWCGP) is a state initiative administered by the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security & Preparedness (NJOHSP) through the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC). The program aims to enhance the cybersecurity posture of water and wastewater organizations serving New Jersey communities. It provides resources for organizations to develop effective cybersecurity governance, conduct risk assessments, implement security protections, and train personnel. The SDWCGP adopts a collective defense approach, encouraging collaboration among water purveyors to share intelligence and respond to threats, thereby improving the resiliency of New Jersey’s critical water infrastructure. The 2026 cycle will be the final year of this program.
