--- ## Description This Horizon Europe call seeks innovative research and demonstration projects that address the safety of cyclists, pedestrians, and users of micromobility devices (e.g., e-bikes, e-scooters, e-cargo bikes) in urban environments. The focus is on understanding and mitigating risks resulting from increased micromobility use, including interactions with motor vehicles and among different user groups. Projects should provide in-depth safety analyses, develop crash reporting standards, propose integration of micromobility into Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans, and pilot new infrastructure or smart technologies. Special attention must be given to vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities, and to the integration of social sciences and humanities to address behavioral and societal impacts.
