Summary: An annual postdoctoral fellowship supplement supporting ongoing research on Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative dementing illnesses.
Key Information: Open to postdoctoral fellows at any Indiana University campus.
The Sarah Roush Memorial Fellowship in Alzheimer’s Disease Research is an annual postdoctoral fellowship supplement listed through the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. The Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center established the fellowship through a donation from James R. and Nancy E. Carpenter and a matching contribution from the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute.
The fellowship is intended to enhance research already underway on Alzheimer’s disease or other neurodegenerative dementing illnesses. Applications may focus on clinical, neuropsychological, basic, or other specific types of investigation into Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Rather than prescribing a single research approach, the program supports postdoctoral fellows across Indiana University campuses whose current work addresses these conditions.
