The Alan B. Slifka Foundation’s Sarcoma Research Grants Initiative funds a broad spectrum of sarcoma research projects. Supported areas include molecular biology, novel therapeutic targets, chromosomal translocations, translational and vaccine studies, monoclonal antibodies, nanotechnology applications, mechanisms of radiation-induced sarcoma, metastasis and drug resistance modeling, age-related sarcoma development, early detection, diagnosis, and pre-clinical studies leading to IND. The Foundation encourages open science, data sharing, and collaboration among investigators, including multi-institutional projects. Grants may support model development, experiments, tissue registries, and research into sarcoma causes, origins, development, diagnosis, and treatment. Clinical and investigational studies with patient involvement are eligible.
