--- ## Description The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to solicit applications for the SBIR/STTR Commercialization Readiness Pilot (CRP) Program (Parent SB1 Clinical Trial Required). This program aims to help small business concerns (SBCs) transition previously or currently funded SBIR and STTR Phase II or Phase IIB projects to the commercialization stage. The CRP provides additional support for technical assistance and later-stage research and development activities not typically funded through earlier SBIR/STTR phases. Eligible activities may include independent replication of key studies, IND-enabling studies, clinical studies, manufacturing costs, regulatory assistance, or a combination of these services. While significant portions of the work may be subcontracted, the SBC must maintain overall oversight and management. This is a forecasted opportunity; publication and application acceptance are contingent on the reauthorization and extension of the SBIR program.
