Description
This program supports the creation and advancement of novel technologies aimed at addressing critical ocean challenges. The focus is on projects with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) between 2 and 6, targeting four key areas: sustaining fisheries, habitat health, ocean observing, and network support. The grants are designed to help promising initiatives from universities, non-profits, or start-ups that have the potential for significant impact and scalability. The goal is to accelerate the deployment of innovative solutions that improve ocean sustainability, restore marine ecosystems, expand research capabilities, and strengthen the operational backbone of the marine technology community.
