Residents receive a stipend, office space, access to university resources, and may request the support of an undergraduate Research Assistant. The program encourages both in-person and hybrid residencies, typically lasting from two months to a full semester, with the possibility of a full academic year.
Participants are expected to engage actively in the HBI seminar series, present new or ongoing work, deliver a public lecture, and contribute to the intellectual community at Brandeis. Projects making use of Brandeis University’s Jewish Feminism Collections are especially encouraged.
