Description
This opportunity provides funding to accredited health professions and nursing schools to award scholarships to full-time students from disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate financial need. The program aims to strengthen the health workforce by increasing the enrollment, retention, and graduation of students from economically, educationally, or geographically vulnerable backgrounds, particularly those likely to practice in primary care and medically underserved communities. Funding supports tuition, educational, and reasonable living expenses, and prioritizes students for whom the cost of attendance would cause severe financial hardship.
