--- ## Description The Science of Learning program supports basic and potentially transformative research that advances our understanding of learning processes, principles, and constraints. The program encourages integrative and multidisciplinary approaches to learning, spanning animals, humans, and machines, and welcomes proposals that bridge theoretical and empirical work. Research may address learning at molecular, neural, cognitive, behavioral, social, or cultural levels, and can utilize a variety of methods (e.g., experiments, field studies, modeling). The program aims to: - Develop foundational insights into how learning occurs across contexts and domains. - Integrate findings across disciplines and levels of analysis. - Connect research outcomes to broader scientific, technological, educational, and workforce challenges. - Encourage creativity, innovative research models, and inventive uses of technology.
