Description
This USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) program funds projects that increase participation from rural areas in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields related to food and agricultural sciences. The program supports research, extension, and integrated activities—targeting K-14 students (kindergarten through 12th grade plus two years of postsecondary education, such as at community colleges or vocational-technical institutions).
